If you want to take advantage of the digital economy but are not sure yet if blogging is the path that you want to take then worry not as there are tons of ways to make money online without a blog.
I am, of course, a bit bias with having a blog. I’ve been blogging for almost two years and I know that there are a lot of monetary and non-monetary gains. But, I also understand that blogging is not for everyone because maintaining a blog can be quite tedious and time-consuming.
Even without a blog though, you can still take advantage and participate in the digital economy, and here’s a list of how you can make money online without a blog.
Online Selling
Online selling is my main source of income. I’ve been selling preloved goods online even before I started Thrifty Hustler. When the pandemic hit the country last March 2020, we’ve all noticed a huge growth in online selling.
This is basically due to the fact that most of us are in lockdown and the only way to continue buying our needs is through online shopping. And because of this situation, ingenious people turned this into an opportunity. A lot of people found success in selling a variety of stuff, most especially food.
Personally, I didn’t attempt to sell food and other essential items during the pandemic, however, I still continued selling preloved items. If you are interested in selling preloved clothes and if you want to know how to do it, please check out my blog posts below:

Apply for Online Jobs
If online selling is not for you, then perhaps you can try getting an online job. Over the years, the world of employment has changed dramatically mainly because of the advancement of technology – primarily of the internet.
There are so many online job boards nowadays that cater to the freelancing community and some of those includes:
- Upwork
- Fiverr
- 199 Jobs (Philippines)
A lot of Filipinos found online jobs through those websites and some of the most common online jobs include (but not limited to):
- Virtual Assistant
- Writer
- Graphics Designer
- Photo Editor
- Social Media Manager
- Data Entry Staff
- Proof Reader
- Editor
- And more!
Make Money by Selling Stock Photos Online
Earning a living as a photographer is becoming more difficult as years go by. Partly because cameras have been so accessible to a lot of people. Modern smartphones have also improved their camera setup and the quality of the pictures they reproduce is sometimes at par with mid-level cameras.
If photography is your hobby or your side-hustle, and if you’re not getting booked recently (probably because of the pandemic situation as well), consider selling stock photos online.
There are so many available websites where you can sell your photos and some of them are:
Make Money with Print on Demand
If you are good with creating graphics, then you can sell print on demand products even without a blog. This business has grown so much over the years and this is one of the avenues for artists to showcase and sell their artwork.
Some of the print on demand websites where you can make money includes:
- Cafe Press
- Design by Humans
- Printful
- Redbubble
- Society6
- Spread Shirt
- SunFrog
- Teefury
- Teepublic
- Teespring
- Threadless
- Zazzle
Earn Money by Selling Digital Products
Even if you don’t have a blog, you can make digital products such as Ebooks and Printables and sell them online. Although, to be honest, it would be of great help if you have a blog to help you market your digital products. Nevertheless, owning a blog is not a requirement in selling your own digital products.
Here are some popular websites where you can sell your digital products:
Make Money from Affiliate Marketing
Yes! You can also make money from Affiliate Marketing even if you don’t have a blog. There’s a lot of ways to do this and some of the most known ways include email marketing and social media marketing.
Again, just like selling digital products, it would be a tremendous help if you have a blog, but it’s not a requirement though.

Online Trading
Online trading is one of the most popular ways to earn money online nowadays. However, you do need sizeable start-up money and as well as trading knowledge to minimize the risk of losing money.
This is a high-risk and high-reward strategy so please tread carefully.
Personally, I do have an account with COL Financial (Philippines) that I’m planning to use for stocks investment and trading, and also, I do have an account with Binance and Crypto for crypto investments and trading.
Again, this is not investment advice, this is just an informational article. Please consult a financial investment professional before you go into online trading.
Online Teaching
One of the most popular part-time jobs in the Philippines is online teaching. There are many companies and online job boards where you can apply. And the most popular subject to teach is English.
This is a great way to earn a side-income especially if you love teaching!
Sell Online Courses
This is something related to teaching but instead of teaching ‘live’, you can make online courses instead and sell them on the following platforms.
Bear in mind that you do need to keep your materials updated to ensure that they continuously enjoy profitability on the above-mentioned platforms.
Get Paid To Write
Even if you don’t want to make your own blog, there are tons of other websites that will pay you to write. Here are some resources that you can use to search for those paying websites:

Make Money from Video Sharing Websites
This is another money-making opportunity for almost anyone. You can make original video content and upload them to the following websites to earn money from advertisements, affiliate marketing, and even brand partnerships.
Here are some resource links to help you get started:
YouTube and TikTok are the most popular as of the time of writing, but there are many smaller local apps that you can also sign-up with.
Monetize Social Media Accounts
This actually overlaps with affiliate marketing and becoming an influencer but I have decided to make a separate sub-heading for this to give it more emphasis.
There are multiple ways to earn from your social media account and this post will probably be not enough to discuss all of them. But the most common ways are:
- Affiliate Marketing
- Brand Partnerships
- Sponsorships
This is probably one of the ways that can generate the most profit especially if you are in the niche that pays influencers really well.
Take Online Surveys
You can earn money by answering online surveys as well. However, this is something that might not give the most income in relation to time spent especially if you’re located outside the US.
Play Games
There are numerous gaming sites and apps that you can play with that pays you money in return. I’ve tried a few games myself, and I really did earn a few Satoshis (Bitcoins). However, just like answering surveys, I don’t find it a great way to earn money. The games are nice though! I will probably write more about this in the future and I will link it here.
Refer Your Friends
This is also an overlap with affiliate marketing, however, I’ve decided to put it in a separate category because some of them have income caps and I think it’s really just a way of incentivizing their users instead of being a full-blown affiliate program. You also have to become an account holder before you can start referring people.
I’ve written articles about some of them and I’ll link them down below:

Final Thoughts
These are just some of the ways to make money online without a blog! I’m sure that there will be a lot more opportunities to come in the future as internet technology advance further.
