I have decided to transfer my unstaked CRO tokens from the Crypto.com app to Keplr wallet and I’m documenting my experience so I can share this with whoever is thinking of doing the same.
By the way, before we continue, please be informed that this is not financial advice and I’m just sharing my personal journey in crypto trading, investing, and also my experience in using various crypto DeFi apps.
If you need financial advice, I suggest that you get in touch with a professional financial advisor before you put your hard-earned money into any type of investment. Remember, crypto is a highly volatile market. And always Do Your Own Research (DYOR) as well.

How to Transfer CRO from Crypto.com App to Keplr Wallet
If you don’t have a Crypto.com account and/or a Keplr wallet account yet, I suggest that you check these articles first.
Keplr wallet is probably the best wallet to use if you’d like to interact with as many DeFi apps as possible in the Cosmos ecosystem. And this is the main reason why I’m transferring my CRO tokens to Keplr wallet. I’m thinking of converting some of my CRO to other Cosmos tokens so I can start using various DeFi Apps in order to earn higher yields.
Anyway, let’s proceed with transferring CRO tokens from Crypto.com to Keplr wallet.
The first thing that you have to do is to log in to your Crypto.com app and on your ‘Home’ dashboard, tap on ‘Transfer.’
Once you tap on ‘Transfer’ a small pop-up box will appear at the bottom of your screen and since we’re transferring CRO tokens out of Crypto.com, tap on ‘Withdraw.’
Then, tap on “Crypto.’
Tap on ‘External Wallet.’
And then, tap on ‘Add Wallet Address.’
You will then be asked to choose which token you want to transfer, for this example, choose CRO.
The next page will ask you to provide important information such as Network (use Crypto.org), wallet address (CRO Keplr wallet address), and wallet name. The memo is optional. However, the wallet name is required, I just typed in the name of my Keplr wallet.
To ensure that there’s no mistake with my wallet address, I always scan the QR code instead of typing the address in.
To get your Keplr CRO wallet address, just log in to your Keplr account (Chrome browser extension), choose Crypto.org on the drop-down menu above, and click on ‘Deposit.’
Once you have all the information needed. Tap on ‘Continue.’ It will then ask for security information before it finalizes the process.
Once you typed in the security code, then it will add your Keplr CRO wallet address to the ‘Withdrawal Whitelist’.
I don’t know if this is the same for everyone but since this was the first time I will be withdrawing any tokens from my Crypto.com app, I was asked to wait for 24 hours before I can proceed with the withdrawal.
If it didn’t ask you to wait then you can proceed with withdrawing your tokens as soon as the Whitelisting process is done.
To withdraw, just click on the ‘Withdraw’ link beside your Whitelisted Keplr CRO wallet address.
Type in the amount that you want to withdraw and click again on ‘Withdraw’ at the bottom of your screen.
Check all information on the confirmation page before you click on ‘Confirm.’ Personally, I always check the first and last four digits of the address before I confirm any transaction just to be sure.
You will then be asked to provide security codes afterward. Type those in and you’re done! Check your Keplr (CRO) wallet and it should be there right away
By the way, I always transfer a small amount of token to test it first. This is to ensure that funds will not be lost due to possible errors on my part. If this is your first time to transfer tokens as well, then do not transfer your entire fund right away.
Always do a small test transfer first.
